SC Boris Trajkovski

Boris Trajkovski Sports Center is Macedonia’s largest multifunctional sports venue, featuring a large arena with a capacity of 7,500 and a smaller hall. It hosts major basketball and handball competitions, as well as cultural and entertainment events.

Skopje brings together centuries of history, diverse cultures, bold architecture, and a lively urban rhythm.

From its ancient roots as Scupi, through Byzantine and Ottoman influences, to the modern capital it is today. After the 1963 earthquake, it was rebuilt with support from around the world, shaping its unique and resilient identity.

Fly into Skopje Airport, around 25 minutes from the championship venue. Team-friendly hotels with easy access to the venue are available, with booking assistance and airport transfers by taxi, shuttle or private vehicle upon request.

DANCEFLOOR

There are two dance floors for all solo, duo and small group competitions. There is one dancefloor for formations and production.
 

START TIME

Please make sure all dancers are ready and in full costume at least 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start. The given times are approximate and subject to change. The hosts will call participants only once!

 

CERTIFICATE

Every contestant will get a certificate including the ranking approximately within 90 minutes after elimination. Please see staff members at the check-in counter in the entrance hall of the venue. Certificates are the official proof of ranking (Finalists will get the certificates at the winner’s ceremony) and given only to the Team-Captains.

 

LANGUAGE

The official IDO language is English. Therefore, the whole competition will be hosted in the English language. This includes all communication or any written information.

 

FOOD

There will be food and beverages in front of the hall where you can eat and drink. Also the restaurants in the hotel will work with full capacity.

 

BACKSTAGE AND FLOOR AREA

For security reasons, only dancers, backstage pass holders and press will have access to backstage AND FLOOR areas.

 

ACCESS

Please make sure team members are wearing the wristband at all times. Access to the venue without a wristband will not be granted. In case of removal or loss, team members will have to buy a ticket at the ticket counter at their own expense. There is free parking space for busses and cars for all the participants at the Championship
 

WINNER CEREMONY

The price giving ceremony will take place after the finals. All finalists will be honored with a medal and 3rd to 1st place with a trophy.

TEAM CAPTAIN’S CONTACTS

Team captains will be asked to leave their cell phone number while checking in. This is in case that the organization team will have to inform you about possible time changes or any issues concerning a team or team members.
